Vending Machine Soup

Millinophile saw this corn-covered can in a vending machine and had to try it.  Turns out, it's not corn soda--it's corn chowder. It was still tasty.

Green Tea

Sencha is the most common type of green tea here in Japan.

It's really green.

Sakura Mochi

Sakura (cherry blossom) mochi, available only in the spring. Mochi = little balls of rice flour. These mochi are covered in a sakura syrup and sprinkled with dried sakura leaves.

Millinophile: These were really chewy and mildly sweet.  Also, I thought they were strawberry, so....

Chickadee: Slimy, yet satisfying.
