Scenes from Yokohama



 While walking home from church, we noticed this parking lot shrine.

This is a typical Japanese graveyard (they're all really densely packed).

    I notice that the parking lot shrine is politely taking up only one space. Re:the graveyard--that is really tight--do they bury people vertically?

    They cremate people here. Each grave is actually a family grave, with the names of all the people whose ashes are buried there engraved on the wooden sticks.
